Dear Patients,
My name is Antonina Gaivoronskaya, and I am the chief editor of the website www.tamc.co.il, responsible for the medical content you find here.
I did not enter medicine through writing. It started with working directly with patients and doctors — with real situations, real questions, and sometimes real anxiety that required clear and timely answers. Since 2023, I have worked in various medical settings, coordinating appointments, supporting patients, and managing internal processes. This experience gave me a clear understanding of what the patient journey actually looks like — not in theory, but in real life.
Over time, one thing became very clear to me: it is not enough to provide information — it has to be understandable. Without unnecessary complexity, without overload, but also without losing accuracy.
Since 2024, I have focused on medical content and coordination. A significant part of my work today involves organizing online consultations and supporting patients who reach out to Israeli specialists from abroad.
I regularly work with medical records, reports, test results, and patient inquiries. Before publication, all materials are carefully reviewed, discussed with physicians when needed, and adapted to ensure they remain precise, yet clear for someone without a medical background.
We pay special attention to patients who are considering treatment in Israel. It is important that even before traveling, a person can receive a second opinion, understand possible treatment options, and have a realistic picture of what comes next — without unnecessary expectations or missing information.
We also closely follow developments in Israeli medicine, including new treatment approaches and emerging technologies that may be relevant for international patients. In some cases, this allows us to help patients prepare a preliminary evaluation or treatment plan even before arriving in Israel.
For me, it is essential to maintain a balance — between accuracy and clarity, between medical professionalism and human language.
The main principle behind my work is respect for the patient and responsibility for every word we publish.
If, after reading the materials on this site, you feel more clarity and a little less uncertainty — then we are doing our job right.
Chief Editor
Antonina Gaivoronskaya
