    Fanconi Anemia

Most children develop hematopoietic aplasia, which subsequently leads to blood cell deficiency. In such babies, the risk of leukaemia, various tumours in the internal organs increases. Experts believe that the disease is hereditary. Pathology often occurs in people who are close relatives of each other.

Our children’s doctor has the highest qualifications and great practical experience, and also knows how to establish friendly relations with children.

    Symptoms of the disease

    Unfortunately, children cannot explain in detail what is bothering them. Therefore, all responsibility for the health of the baby falls on the shoulders of parents. If you notice suspicious signs, you should immediately contact a pediatrician:

    • Bone development abnormalities;
    • Congenital pathologies of the eyes, ears, heart and other internal organs;
    • Delay in physical development;
    • Pale skin;
    • Deterioration of blood test;
    • Increased fatigue;
    • General malaise.

    A qualified specialist will conduct the necessary examination and select the optimal therapy scheme taking into account the peculiarities of the disease development and the general condition of the patient.

    Diagnosis and treatment of the disease

    This disease develops slowly and asymptomatically. Over time, the symptomatology becomes more apparent. The sooner the pathology is detected, the higher the chance of full recovery. Our specialists carry out a comprehensive examination of the body:

    • Examination and collection of pathology history;
    • Blood and urine test;
    • Bone marrow puncture;
    • Ultrasound;
    • MRI or CT scan;
    • Genetic tests and others.

    The only effective treatment for pathology is a bone marrow transplant. Clinic doctors are looking for potentially compatible donors. Patients who are sensitive to chemotherapy are given several courses. Children who cannot transplant bone marrow are given drug therapy. Doctors of our clinic manage to help patients even in the most severe cases.
