    Liver Cancer Primary hepatic endocrinomas

    Liver cancer is a malignant tumour that is localized in the liver. The neoplasm originates from liver cells or is a metastasis of another (primary) tumour. Liver metastases develop much more often than primary tumours. This is due to the nature of blood circulation and liver function in the body. Primary liver cancer has the following types: hepatocellular carcinoma, angioplasty sarcoma (angiosarcoma), hepatoblastoma and hemangiosarcoma, cholangiocarcinoma. The tumour develops very quickly, spreading to neighbouring organs. A feature of sarcomas is their occurrence mainly in young people and in children. Therefore, it is so important to seek qualified help in time to avoid the development of dangerous complications. After all, the earlier oncology is discovered, the easier it is to get rid of it.

    • pain in the right side of the upper abdomen or under the right shoulder blade;
    • loss of appetite;
    • bloating of the abdomen;
    • solid seal under the ribs on the right side;
    • tiredness or weakness;
    • nausea or vomiting;
    • heat;
    • the yellowness of the skin and eyes, as well as darkening of urine;
    • feeling overeating after eating small amounts of food;
    • itching;
    • swollen veins in the abdomen;
    • deterioration in chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis.

    A qualified specialist will carry out the necessary diagnostics and select the optimal therapy regimen.

    Treatment

    Surgery is the main treatment for liver cancer. The doctor develops a treatment plan on an individual basis. If the tumour is resectable, then preparation for serious surgical intervention begins. Removal of liver metastases is an effective method of treatment. The liver regenerates and the removed part is gradually restored. After the surgery, the doctor administers chemotherapy to destroy the remaining abnormal cells. Radiotherapy can be used in combination with surgery or chemotherapy.
