    Surgery for Metastatic Melanoma: overview

    Metastatic melanoma is an oncological disease in which secondary tumours spread throughout the human body in a short period. With melanoma, the risk of spreading metastases to the brain is the highest among the most common oncological diseases. Most often, metastases of the melanoma to the brain manifest haemorrhage into the tumour, and clinically manifested by a stroke-like condition.
