Frequently Asked Questions
1. What kind of conditions do you treat?
“My focus is on brain and spinal tumors — from aggressive glioblastomas to tumors that have spread from other areas of the body (metastases). Every patient is different, and that’s exactly how I treat them. I carefully review each case, combining high-resolution imaging with advanced diagnostics to create a plan that fits not just the tumor, but the person behind it.”
2. Can I consult with you remotely?
“Yes, I regularly provide online consultations, especially for international patients who can’t travel right away. You can send your scans (like MRI or CT), pathology reports, and medical history. After I review them, we’ll schedule a video consultation where I’ll walk you through my impressions and recommend next steps. Many patients find this incredibly helpful — even just for a second opinion.”
3. Where do you see patients?
“I consult at Ichilov Hospital, where I lead the Neuro-Oncology Unit, and also at the Tel Aviv Medical Clinic (TAMC), a private clinic in the heart of Tel Aviv. Patients often appreciate the option to choose where they feel most comfortable.”
4. Are you involved in clinical trials?
“Yes, research is a big part of my work. I’m actively involved in clinical trials that focus on new treatments for brain and central nervous system tumors. When appropriate, I offer eligible patients access to these trials, which often include promising, cutting-edge therapies not yet available elsewhere.”
5. Do you also treat children?
“My clinical practice focuses on adult patients, but when needed, I work closely with pediatric oncologists and neurosurgeons to make sure younger patients also get the best, most coordinated care.”
