Training and Professional Experience
Dr. Kazum completed his orthopedic surgery training at Tel Aviv Medical Center (Ichilov).
Following residency, he pursued focused subspecialty training in shoulder surgery within the Shoulder Unit at Ichilov Hospital, under the supervision of Prof. Eran Maman.
He later completed a two-year fellowship in Paris, France, under the mentorship of Dr. Philippe Valenti — one of the internationally recognized leaders in shoulder surgery.
During this period, Dr. Kazum gained extensive experience in complex shoulder reconstruction, revision surgery, and tendon transfer techniques, particularly in challenging clinical cases.
Academic and Teaching Activity
Dr. Kazum serves as a senior lecturer at Tel Aviv University and is actively involved in teaching medical students and orthopedic residents.
He is also responsible for the orthopedic residency training program at Tel Aviv Medical Center.
He regularly participates in international professional conferences and maintains close collaboration with leading shoulder surgeons in Israel and abroad.
