Professor Zvi Ram is a specialist in the field of neurosurgery with more than 30 years of professional experience.
Having begun studying the fundamentals of medicine at the University of Maryland, USA, in the early seventies, by 1979 Zvi Ram received a diploma from the Graduate Medical School of Medicine. Sackler Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Ram completed his professional internship at Sheba Hospital (Tel Hashomer), specializing in the field of neurosurgery. After graduating from residency, in 1991 he held the position of senior specialist in the department, and in subsequent years – deputy head of the neurosurgery department of the Sheba Clinic.
Since 2003, Professor Zvi Ram has been Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Tel Aviv Medical Center. Soraski (“Ichilov”).
Professor Zvi Ram is a member of the editorial boards and reviewer of many scientific international medical journals in the fields of neurology, neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, gene therapy and neurology.
An experienced and talented neurosurgeon, Zvi Ram is also active in academic activities. Since 1995, he has been a senior lecturer in the Department of Neurosurgery, Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, and since 2000, an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University.
The professor is also an active member of numerous international and national professional organizations, including the American Association of Neurosurgery, the American and European Associations of Neuro-Oncology, the scientific advisory board of the Israeli Medical Association and many others.
